  • Use the activation process to materialize and publish your segment to activation platforms like Marketing Cloud.

  • Take data foundation requirements and create a segment that represents your full audience.
  • Create 2 activations representing your audience that will then be used for Marketing activities, like Journey Builder.
  • Map Data Cloud segments into Marketing Cloud Attribute groups. These groups will house the client’s audience to be used for marketing campaigns.
  • Create a multi-channel (email and/or SMS) Journey Builder campaign using your new unified data sources. The data will be refreshed periodically to ensure you are using the most up-to-date customer information for personalization and decisioning splits.
