AppShark is going to Dreamforce 2014 and we couldn't be more excited about it! Everybody knows about Dreamforce, after all, it’s the biggest four-day tech conference hosted each year by salesforce.com, to bring together the best minds in the world of cloud computing.
It’s a networking platform on a grand scale and as a Salesforce Registered Partner, we get to meet not only other partners, but also industry leaders, technical experts, new entrepreneurs foraying into the world of Salesforce, startups, eminent speakers and of course other attending businesses. This year’s event also boasts an impressive keynote speaker list with prominent leaders like Marc Benioff, Chairman and CEO of salesforce.com; Hillary R. Clinton, former Secretary of State; Al Gore, 45th Vice President of USA; Jeremy Stoppelman, CEO, Yelp Inc; Klaus Schwab, Founder and Executive Chairman of the World Economic Forum; Arianna Huffington, President and Editor-in-Chief of Huffington Post Media Group; Tony Prophet, Corporate Vice President, Microsoft Windows Marketing leading the list.
Dreamforce 2014 will host over 1400 breakout sessions with themes like AppExchange, Emerging trends, Integration, Forecasting, Open Innovation, Sales Productivity, Social Marketing, Women in Technology, User experience and other such themes revolving around the role of salesforce and cloud computing in different industries. While these will take center stage during our attendance at the four-day conference, we are also excited about the various product keynote discussions to be held about innovations in salesforce.com products and how these are changing the way businesses connect with their customers.
For more hands-on experience, AppShark will be attending the daily cloud expos on the various Salesforce products, solutions and industries, where we will see live demos and personally meet with representatives from more than 350 cloud computing companies.
If you are thinking that this event is all about work, conferences and discussions, Dreamforce 2014 will also feature fun events to liven up things! There is a Dreamforce Gala and UCSF Benefit Concert where the star of the show is…Bruno Mars! This Grammy nominee and winner will light the stage on fire while the other band playing at the Gala is Cake, the American alternative rock band.
